Peel-Off in Palm Springs - 2011Event InformationPeel-off is a clothing-optional event for gay men, held at a new location in Palm Springs, CA. Canyon Club Resort Our talented calling staff will be calling programs from Mainstream to C1, although the C program will be adjusted to meet the level of the dancers. Current class members will be accommodated with class level tips, again depending on the number that sign up. About Canyon Club ResortCanyon Club Hotel is an all-male clothing optional resort featuring an outdoor park (where dancing will take place), balconies and patios, a 50-foot pool and 16-man spa, chat-ready computers, steam room, dry sauna, TVs with "special content" and other amenities. Provisional ProgramHere's a general overview of what to expect: Friday Registration will open at 4:00 on Friday. Happy Hour will begin at 6:00 with beer, wine, soda, and snacks. Dinner will be served by your Peel-Off Committee at 7:00, and dancing will be from 8:00 to 10:30 PM. Most dancers will wind down with more hospitality, and visits to the various facilities offered by Canyon Club... Gay bars are a short distance from the venue for those that want to venture out! SaturdayOn Saturday, there will be coffee available at 7:00 AM. Breakfast will be served by Canyon Club (check with the front desk for times). Dancing will be from 9:30 - 12:30 followed by lunch served by the Peel Off Committee. Dancing will resume at 1:30 with Pool Tips at 3:00. Refreshments will be served at 4:30 with another dinner prepared by The Committee at 6:00. At 7:00, dancing will continue as we join the Boots In Squares with our caller and others until 10:00, at The United Methodist Church, 1555 E Alejo Rd, in Palm Springs. After the dance, the hospitality suite will again be open at Canyon Club, or you can make your own way to clubs and other venues in Palm Springs. SundaySunday morning will be a repeat of the Saturday schedule until 12:00, when we'll have our farewell tip followed by lunch served by The Committee. You'll be able to stay and enjoy the Canyon Club facilities until 5:00 PM if you're not booked to stay Sunday night. Many choose to stay on at Canyon Club for additional days to enjoy the atmosphere there, and to sample the delights that Palm Springs has to offer. Ask Canyon Club for rates for additional nights!
