Event Information

Peel-off is a clothing-optional event for gay men, held at the Cathedral City Boys' Club in Palm Springs, CA.

Our talented calling staff will be calling programs from Mainstream to C1, although the C program will be adjusted to meet the level of the dancers. Current class members will be accommodated with class level tips, again depending on the number that sign up.

About CCBC

CCBC is the premier gay clothing-optional resort in Palm Springs. This  24-hour a day "clothing optional" resort is close to gay bars, shops and restaurants.  Facilities include a pool, spa, steam room, in-room adult video channels, 2 public adult video rooms, and the famous cruisy "Walk", as well as an outdoor misting system and over 2 acres of lawn and gardens. Enjoy interactions with other guests, and with the many local residents who purchase day membership to use the facilities. Call Cathedral City Boys Club directly at 1-800-472-0836 to arrange for reservations.  Rooms range from motel-style rooms with 1 or 2 beds, to 2-bedroom suites for up to 6 people.  For pricing and other information, contact CCBC directly.

Due to limited space at the resort, you are encouraged to room share if possible.

NOTE:  The resort will hold all rooms for us through March 1st.  After this date they will make rooms available to other guests wishing to use the facility.

Shuttle/Airport Pickup

An airport shuttle is available to/from Palm Springs airport, and can be arranged with the resort.  An alternative airport to consider is Ontario, about 60 miles away. If you plan to tour other areas in Palm Springs, Ontario airport is a good place to rent a car.

Provisional Program

Here's a general overview of what to expect:

Friday

Registration will open at 4:00 on Friday, April 28th, in Suite 21. Happy Hour will begin at 6:00 with beer, wine, soda, and snacks. Dinner will be served by your Peel-Off Committee at 7:00, and dancing will be from 8:00 to 10:30 PM. Most dancers will wind down with more hospitality, and visits to the various facilities offered by CCBC... Gay bars are a short distance from the venue for those that want to venture out!

Saturday

On Saturday, there will be coffee available at 7:00 AM. Breakfast will be served by CCBC from 8:00 - 9:30. Dancing will be from 9:30 - 12:30 followed by lunch served by CCBC. Dancing will resume at 1:30 with Pool Tips at 3:00. Refreshments will be served at 4:30 with another dinner prepared by The Committee at 6:00. At 7:00, dancing will continue at CCBC with our caller and others until 10:00.

After the dance, the hospitality suite will again be open at CCBC, or you can make your own way to clubs and other venues in Palm Springs.

Sunday

Sunday morning will be a repeat of the Saturday schedule until 12:00, when we'll have our farewell tip followed by lunch served by CCBC. You'll be able to stay and enjoy the CCBC facilities until 5:00 PM if you're not booked to stay Sunday night. Many choose to stay on at CCBC for additional days to enjoy the atmosphere there, and to sample the delights that Palm Springs has to offer. Ask CCBC for rates for additional nights!

Use of CCBC and all dance venues is at your own risk.  All attendees will be required to sign a full release of liability.  Payment in full is required with registration; registrations are not final until your payment has been received.  No refunds will be made after April 1.
